Beaches Agios Nikolaos

In the larger town of Agios Nikolaos there are three popular beaches. Havania beach is on the outskirts of the town (approaching from Elounda) which is sandy. Kitroplatia beach which in the very centre of the town. This popular beach is skirted by local cafes and restaurants. Almiros beach on the way out of town towards Siteia. Almiros beach is sandy and has a natural fresh water river running in to it at one end. It is a very pretty spot but again quite popular in the summer months.
